Diablo 3 to be released on consoles

Blizzard has confirmed that Diablo 3 will be released on consoles.

Micah Whiple the Blizzard community manager broke the news via Twitter but no release date or specific platforms were mentioned. 

Micah Whiple confirmed that Josh Mosqueira is lead designer for the Diablo console project.

Diablo 3 is due "early 2012" for PC and Mac.
