Need for Speed the Run due in November

EA have announced that Need for Speed the Run is due for release on November 15th.
Executive producer Delong has claimed that this release will take Need for Speed to the next level.
In this game you take part in a cross country race from San Francisco to New York driving through urban traffic and racing down icy mountain passes.

Have EA pushed this series to the limits already or will Need for Speed Run give gamers a whole new experience ? We will have to wait for November to find out.
