Untethered iOS 6 / 6.1 Jailbreak Supported Devices

The evad3rs team are getting very close to releasing the Untethered iOS 6 / iOS 6.1 Jailbreak tool known as Evasi0n so here is a list of the supported devices.

iPhone 5

iPod touch 5th generation

iPod touch 4th generation

iPad mini

Apple TV 2nd generation

Here are a few requirements that the Evad3rs team have mentioned:

Windows users will need to have a machine running Windows XP or later.
Max OS X users will need to have their OS updated to 10.5 or later.
Linux users might get the Evasi0n tool at a later date, but they need be running at least Linux x86 / x86_64 or later.
Update to iOS 6.1 through iTunes and not Over The Air as OTA Update tends to mess with the Jailbreak process. If you have already done an Over The Air update to iOS 6.1 just plug your device into your computer sync and backup your data then do a restore. This will download the iOS 6.1 firmware, and update the device to how Evasi0n likes it.

You should now be good to go as soon as the Evasi0n tool is released.
